What Is RFID Tracking?
RFID tags are tiny low-power radio transmitters, typically smaller than a grain of rice. These broadcast a very short-range signal, only able to be received within 10 meters or so. This signal is also very basic, usually just an identification code. RFID is used for tracking all types of things in the real world, such as following packages in transit - or keeping track of a student population!
By embedding RFID tags in your students' ID badges and setting up some sensors around school, and in your buses, you'll be able to keep tabs on where your students are whenever they're in your care.
